Super Bowl Sunday!
Justin Timberlake took the stage for the Super Bowl LII half-time show in Minneapolis. Justin had all of us feeling nostalgic as he performed a medley of his classic hits that I am sure had most of us singing and maybe even dancing along to!
After such a huge performance, an artist is always under scrutiny from some of the toughest critics —can you imagine the pressure?! Although Justin Timberlake is one of the most talented musicians of this generation, he sure caught some heat from publications such as The New Yorker, The Guardian & The Washington Post.

Over 100 million people plop down in front of a television to watch the top two NFL teams compete in THE biggest game of the year, the Super Bowl! In fact, this sport spectacle is so celebrated that it is considered an unofficial holiday in the United States. Better yet, a day to guiltlessly consume an unhealthy amount of fried food because, well...it’s the Super Bowl!
With so many eyes on the television screen, America could not let this particular Sunday exclusively represent a game of football. The Super Bowl has developed a reputation for having the most entertaining commercials in history. Many people don’t even watch the game but instead tune in during the breaks to watch the ads! To put this in perspective, a 30 second Super Bowl ad may cost a brand over $5 MILLION dollars — for that kind of coin these commercials better make history!
2018’s Super Bowl ads have already leaked! It’s only right we highlight The Voice’s commercial featuring coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Alicia Keys and Kelly Clarkson. This commercial might not make history but it sure is worth watching!
The “Battle of the Brands” is not the only form of entertainment the Super Bowl has to offer. The half-time show (the most-watched musical event of the year) is practically the only thing that can get us to put down Grandma’s homemade chicken wings. A musician will never be seen by more human beings at once other than rocking a Super Bowl half-time show. Justin Timberlake is “the chosen one” for Super Bowl 2018 so expectations are high! Other legendary performers include Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Madonna, The Who, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Prince, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, U2 and more.
